Grace Higgins

I am a recent graduate from Arizona State University where I studied Forensic Psychology. Much of my undergrad interests stemmed from the desire to know what causes humans to act the way they do, specifically in terms of criminal activity. I hope to further explore those topics, as well as dive deeper into how mental health can impact various criminal patterns. One of my goals in this program is to take courses that I had not had the chance to take during undergrad as I cannot limit my interests to just one field. Coming to Duke is such an exciting opportunity for me for many reasons, but the main one is the sense of community and spirit which I am strongly intending on being a part of. Outside of academics, I enjoy running, and various crafts which are typically limited to jewelry making, and spending time with my friends and family. I am so excited about this opportunity and to meet the other students in this program!
