Ethan Jakobcic
Hello, my name is Ethan Jakobcic and I am a 28 year from Southern California. Before my acceptance to Duke, I went to community college for 7 years before transferring to San Diego State University. While at SDSU I earned my BA in Liberal Studies with an emphasis in elementary education, while I could have immediately enrolled in a teaching credential program I decided I wanted to continue my education before I began that career path which is why I have decided to pursue a masters degree here in Durham. In my down time, I love watching sports, traveling, drawing, and working out. I love meeting new people from different walks of life so I am very excited to meet all the great people associated with this institution. While I am in the process of completing a road trip from San Diego to Durham I most likely will not be able to meet anyone until orientation but with that being said I can’t wait to get the next chapter of my life started and create meaningful relationships with my peers and faculty members along the way. Looking forward to seeing you all soon.
